Paid Surveys Scams

Are paid surveys scams? I believe the simple answer is yes.

Let me share my experience with you. A few months ago I was looking to make a part-time income and after some research I found that there were a whole lot of online companies looking to pay people to take surveys. The concept seemed to make sense to me. Various companies in the real world are increasingly doing their market research online as it is easier, quicker and cheaper for them to do so. Sounded like a plausible concept so I signed up for about 30 of these paid surveys scams. Only one of them did I actually pay a fee to join.

Perhaps these paid surveys scams are technically not scams because there is a monetary reward for your time, but it is paltry. The largest amount I have received from these paid surveys scams is $3 for half an hour of my time. ( I have received an offer once for a $20 survey, but it was for a gambling website, which I have a personal objection to.) In two months, over 30 survey sites I've made approximately $20 in total. This is not what I call a part-time income.

In my opinion, if you want to do surveys for a bit of fun, then go for it, but if you are looking to make a part time income on the internet, then these paid surveys scams are best left alone. There are other avenues to research and pursue if you want to make an income online.

About the Author

Are the websites which you pay a onetime fee to get surveys sent to you legitimate? or are they a scam?

To clarify the website. Its one of those sites which you pay a onetime fee of like 30 bucks, then you begin receiving surveys, and you are paid a certain amount for each survey you fill out.

Anytime anyone wants to charge you to provide you with work opportunities, its usually a scam.

You CAN get paid to fill out surveys with NO COST to you. My wife and I do this on a regular basis and make a decent side income.
