I have done paid surveys and got paid. Most are fairly bad with a few good ones. You can make money, but you eventually run out of surveys that you can complete without completing offers. You can also find some sites that will pay you for clicking on their site and waiting 15-30 seconds.
In order to make decent money at PTC (paid to click) sites you will eventually need to develop referrals. Most sites will pay you to do surveys and click sites, but will also pay you for people you get to sign up as your referral. If you click 10 sites and you have 10 referrals each click 10 sites and you make money on their 100 clicks then this is how you eventually make money without spending hours and hours each day trying to complete surveys and clicking sites.
There is also the issue of how and when you get paid. Most sites have limits on how much you must earn before you get paid. Some also only pay to paypal or alertpay.
